Black River Traditions - Ride the hills of the Eastern Ozarks
About Us
We started our company in July 2009.  New to the Black River Area, we wanted to share the wonderful countryside that we discovered with others, incorporating what we love.....HORSES.  We believe there is no better way to see the wildlife and the forest than on horseback.  So we decided to offer a variety of services, guided trail rides, lessons for beginner skill levels, and overnight boarding for owners that want to bring their own horses to ride, to experience it.  Yes, you can just pet the horses if that's what you enjoy.   Our goal is to make your experience safe and unforgettable. Due to circumstances beyond our control, we will no longer be able to offer trail rides to children under 12yrs old.  Able to lead line for younger riders in pasture and in round ring. Hope to see you on the trail and don't forget the carrots or apples for treats.    Mark & Sharon
