Trail rides:
Must be 12 or older, anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult and wear a helmet(provided)
Signed liability release required
Closed toed shoes required, suggest long pants but its up to you.
Nonalcoholic beverages maybe brought on the trail. Horn bags available for drinks, cameras, etc. May bring lunch for longer rides.
Basic Trail: $25/rider
One hour trail ride along a wooded path and ends in the field. Best ride for first time rider or if you just want a leisurely ride. If you want to trot or canter in field just ask, or you can walk the entire trail.
Deluxe Trail: $40/rider
Close to two hours on horseback. Trail is a little more challenging with some
hills to go up and down and you see more of the wooded areas. Trotting and cantering are allowed.
Look Out Trail: $50/rider
Takes about three hours round trip for this ride. Mid point of the ride, we
end up on top of a mountain with a clearing. You are able to see for miles
and miles. Beautiful scenery along the way with some gravel road traveling.
Trail is not difficult just a little long.
River Excursion: $100/rider
If you want to see Black River and travel like the cowboys did, this is the ride for you. This ride takes five to six hours and at the mid point you end on the bank of the Black River. You can bring your lunch and have a picnic to refuel for the ride home, or wear your suit and take a dip in the river. Advance notice is needed for this ride.
Children’s Experience: $10/per 30min
Each child is given basic instruction on safety, stopping, steering and of
course, the giddy up of a horse. The child is then lead around the round ring for the riding experience. If they are able, they may take control and ride by themselves in the round ring with supervision. Picture of the ride is
included.
Riding is subject to weather conditions, if
temperature is above 90F, there is a heat warning or it is raining,
rides are closed for the day. Special arrangements for a night ride may
be made with advance notice in hot weather conditions. If there is any questions, please call ahead to make sure that the horses are working the day you wish to ride.
Lessons: $10/30min lesson (lesson horses available)

Boarding: $10/night boarding (pasture or stall, hay and grain fed daily) Weekly and Monthly rates available
parking for trailers and on site camping available for boarders. Primitive camping only for time being. We are purchasing cabins soon. So visit us again for new updates.

Areas of Interest in surrounding 20 miles: Johnson shut-ins, Elephant Rock State Park, Taum Sauk Mountain, Sam A Baker State Campground.
Directions: Highway 55 south to Highway 67 south to Hwy221 west to Ironton, make Left on 21/72, continue south on 21/72 till meets 49,continue straight to Annapolis. Make a right on Hwy K, approximately 2miles on the right.
